Release Notes for Wanguard 6.3
May 30, 2017 - https://www.andrisoft.com - Andrisoft, developer of traffic monitoring and DDoS mitigation software, today announces a new major release of the Wanguard software platform.
Wanguard 6.3 brings the following new features and changes:
- REST API support. To install it, execute "yum install WANrestapi" on CentOS, or "apt-get install wanrestapi" on Debian or Ubuntu. It requires PHP 5.6 or higher. To access the documentation, open http(s)://<console_ip>/wanguard-api-ui
- Updated list of AS numbers and ISPs.
- Packet tracer support for netmap monitoring mode
- Add an option to show IPs in the IP Accounting dashboard widget
- Graphs and tops for AS peers (PrevAdjacentAS and NextAdjacentAS in NetFlow v9)
- A new IP/AS Validation Option for logging invalidated flows in the event log
- Add a swap option to the direction selector in IP graphs which reverts the y-axis between inbound and outbound
- Add an option to show IPs in the IP Accounting dashboard widget
- Add selectors for traffic direction and Sensor stacking to the IP and Decoder Graph dashboard widgets
- Log in using the URL /wanguard/login.php?username=restricted_user&password=pass
- Support for generating graphs and tops for transit ASNs. Requires a MTR file exported by Quagga with AS path information
- GRE traffic decapsulation
- ICMP Type filtering rule
- New option for Packet Filter that allows capturing packets on TUN/TAP interfaces
- New option for Guests to view/download/delete Packet Traces, but not to capture packets
- A new Duplicate option for Anomaly Detection, in the Sensor Cluster configuration
- Packet Filter support for bridged interfaces
- Suport for Huawei 16-bit MIB flow exporters
- Packet Tracer support for PF_RING
- Add automatically-generated Anomaly Graphs and enable them by default while still allowing IP Graphs to be generated in Anomaly Reports
- New dynamic parameter for representing the link usage percent, named {latest_link_utilization}
- The bug fixes listed on version changelog.
